Young Peoples' Fellowship Groups

Our young people are very important to us! Winterberry Heights Church firmly believes that fellowship plays an important role in the success of of the church and the well being of each member. There currently are several Young People Fellowship Groups. Please explore them below.

Young People's Band and Choir
Our church uses music extensively and runs programs for all ages. As early as possible we teach our young people how to read music, play instruments and sing in a choir. As they mature, theory is also taught, which helps them grow both at their music activities in the church and also at school.
If your children would like to learn more about these music programs, please contact us and we'll be glad to discuss the opportunities with you. |

Pioneer Club (Kids Club)
Every Wednesday night, from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m., a program of fun and fellowship is run for young people between the ages of 4 and 12. We meet at 300 Winterberry Drive. The program leader is Mrs. Doris Monroe who, with her adult helpers, teach the young children crafts, songs and stories.
There are approximately 50 young people in this group called "Pioneers". If you would like to learn more about how your children could take part, please contact us and we'll be glad to discuss this program with you. |

Faith Mountain Sunday School
During our Sunday morning church service, the young people have their own time and place for further fellowship. They learn biblical stories and make crafts that relate to these stories. We believe these early years of spiritual training are the foundation for continued growth as good citizens in our community. If you would like to learn more about how your children could take part, we would be pleased to discuss the program with you. |

Adventure Club
The objective of the Adventure Club is to provide a Christian atmosphere to youth ages 8 -13 at Winterberry Heights Church enabling our young people to get to know each other better, bond and support each other, enjoy some fun activity and learn more about the love of Jesus Christ.
|
 |
Adventure Club also encourages young people ages 13 and over to take part in a 'leadership' role helping out with the ongoing activities and earning volunteer hours that are now required for High School graduation. Thanks to Aaron Prodeus and Nathanial Taylor who have helped out on a regular basis. |
Community Recreation Activities
We run recreational activities for the whole family. We have a full size professionally designed gymnasium with equipment suitable for several activities. If you would like to learn more, please contact us and we'll be glad to discuss this program with you. |
